I want a program that can basically clean my mp3s and rid them of skips crackle and pop hiss sounds.Is there anything out there?
Sounds like you want to do this with many mp3s automatically - no chance. If the mp3s are corrupted somehow (bad frames leading to pops ...) you can use mp3directcut to either cut bad frames out or lower their volume so they're less annoying. If this is still not enough you need to decompress to .wav and use some wave editor like CoolEdit(Pro) or Soundforge (free). MP3 is compressed, so (ideally) everything inaudible is removed and inaudible noise/distortion/... is added. So there's hardly any headroom for manipulations like noise removal. Give it a try - but most likely you'll decide to leave the mp3s as they are or get them in better quality
