Is there a trick to turning in your empty ink to office max??

    OK I saw an ad today at Staples foe a microsoft 1000 keyboard and mouse combo for $30.00 fair deal. I have read that people here take their ads from other places for dvd media and they price match, then the use 5 empty cartidges to get an extra $15.00 off. I went skipping in to office max expecting to get the keyboard/mouse for $15.00 but when they tried to ring it up it wouldn't go through. They said it was cause you can only have one discount or the other. What the trick to get them to accept it?

    Also is there any other brick and motor stores that take empties for store credit? and where is the best place (best prices) to sell online?
