Can anyone explain to me what data cable I can use to hook my v220 up to my PC? I've looked at several different website, including Motorola's, and none of them can tell me anything.

No it is not the same as the V300/V400/V500/V600. The kind you want is a mini usb. It is the kind most digital cameras use. So if you have a digital camera try that.

new here...with the data cable will I be able to transfer images/pictures from the camera to my PC? I think it is a bunch of crap that the Cingular salespeople refuse to tell you that there is even a cable for most phones. They insist that the only way to get pictures out of your phone is to WAP it to yourself. Hello, paying data rates of 50 cents to a dollar a picture is a crime. Hi larspawn Yes with the usb cable and software you can transfer pics from phone to pc.I am using the one from a digital camera that fits perfect.
I have the same question I saw posted above. If I order a usb cable can I just hook it up to my v220 phone and put the pictures on my pc or will I have to pay for some extra service with cingular to be able to do it? I cannot afford any extra costs, so thats my question can I put the pictures onto my personal pc with the usb data cable and not have to have or pay for anything additional?
