it really depends how you store them, how bigs the cd rw

I have an mp3 player so most of my files are stored as data as the mp3player converts the files to digital audio automatically. With this i can get about 100 or so songs per disc.

I just think of the simplest way

    Compress it like zip etc...

    and then put on CD

The only way that can happen is

if the cdplayer can play straight mp3's

soo u can burn straight mp3s and have like over 100 and its sweet.

ive seen them but dont know wat exactly their called or what company does it.

    ok guys,

this is a really easy one..

a lot of the new dvd players do play mp3 cds. of course since its a dvd player it will also read data dvds. i crammed so much music onto a dvd... popped it into my set top dvd player and it works perfectly.

    as far as portable..

sony, memorex and a few others will read wmas, mp3s, and atrac (sony), cds. so you would just burn them just like the dvds. except on a cdr or cdrw. pop them into the player and enjoy.
if you find a decent portable mp3 player. they sometimes have 3-4 lines of text, so when you have your files named properly. all the info will show you on that screen.. eg: song title, artist, album.

just bought a sony mp3/atrac/fm tuner/tv tuner for like $60 USD.
just burn the mp3 cds, and pop it in and you're done.

    something like this one:
    http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony...sem/rpsm/oid/120078/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

then they have the desktop version:
    http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sony...sem/rpsm/oid/121380/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

there are so many different options.. check them out..

    hope that helps..

    catch ya'll later
