So I was in the market for a PS3, but I cant wait until April for a price drop (supposedly), then I thought of this plan (although its prob a typical plan, but I dont see any flaws with it yet...) so here it is:

1)Go to a store that sells a PS3 with a good return policy (like bestbuy and futureshop in canada)
2)Buy the ps3 at regular price
3)Play and enjoy for 29 days
4)on 30th day, return the PS3 and get refund, saying I was "unsatisfied"
5)Go back the next day and buy PS3 again
    6)Repeat until price drop

Well according to their policies, I dont see anything against that unless someone can point it out or state that it somehow is illegal in some way (and yes its alot of hassle, but heck, saving 100$ is better and gas isnt an issue cause I get a free buspass anyways...)

Is it 30 days or 14?

Most places will just give in store credit.

Good luck, but sounds like a big hassle.

It's not against the law per se, but IMHO it's certainly immoral and unethical.

Your personal information will be (typically) tracked on each purchase/return.

After a number of returns you will be flagged in the system as an abuser, particularly if the returns are for non-defective items and/or high cost items.

If you go back to the same store you will probably be flagged when you try to return the second one.

The store has the right to limit returns for people abusing the privilege.
