    I have recorded an old cartoon series and put it on PC. I kept separated the beginning and ending songs.
    I am having trouble authoring the way I want it and I don't even know if it is possible (I tell you now that I author using DVD-Lab Pro).
    The result I want is the following:
    1 Main Menu - from where you select the episode you want;
    2 Beginning video song (sorry I am not English speaking and I don't know what you call it);
    3 Episode selected;
    4 Ending video song going back to 1 Main Menu.

    My problem is that I would like to author it so that I don't have to put the Beginning Video song per each episode, but only once so that I save space on the DVD.
    Is there a way to tell the Authoring program to do that so everytime you select a key from Main Menu it has to play Beginning Video and then go to the desired episode selceted? I know if it was all a video I could work with Cells, but the Main Menu is a still menu and not motion menu.

    I hope I was not to confusing. Thanx in advance.

    I am wondering what you are going to use for video while the intro song is playing? If it were me, I would play the song while the main menu was up.

    Anyway, the easy approach would be to choose to return to the main menu after each cartoon...rather than to go from cartoon to cartoon. Then the song would play over and over with the menu up until you choose the next cartoon.

    I do know that if you want to play from cartoon to cartoon, and have the song play in between, you can do this with the song only being burned once. While I am not that familiar with DVD Lab (yet), I know that DVD Remake Pro will allow you to get into the DVD's architecture and program whatever you want to do. So...yes, it can be done...it is just a matter of how much effort you want to put into it.

    DVD Remake/Pro is also a very good and easy to use program if you back up commercial DVD's and don't want to keep the trailers, warnings, etc.

    I am using DVD Lab Pro. All I did was creating a Play List with inside the movies in order that I wanted to play. From the Main Menu I made buttonsfor each episode and each one of them goes to the Play List of that episode.

    Anyway, the procedure works fine, I have the problem that one of the movies in the play list has no audio. I guess the problem is the audio format....but I will know experimenting hee hee.

    Well, just to let you know people in case someone has the same problem. Here's what seems to be the solution of my problem.
    It seems that DVD Lab doesn't support movies in a Play List with different audio format. I had converted my movies half with TMPGenc and half using Nero. I had set Nero for a AC3 audio format, while TMPGenc gives another audio format output.
    Once I put those movies in my Play List it wouldn't play the audio of certain movies. So I reconverted everything using Nero making them all as AC3. My solution is not 100% proven, but for me it worked.
