    i downloaded a movie but it came up in 2 different 700mb files.i want to know is there anything that i can do to join both files so that i can make it fit to a blank dvd instead of burning both files just for that 1 movie.

    There is a program called Allok Video Joiner. I just started using it and works well. I was not able to find any freeware to do that, so I did purchase it. There is a trial version of it to try it first.

    @shta
    Virtual Dub is free and it will join the files - guide.

    Nero Vision also has a 'merge' function too.

    Moving this thread to a more appropriate forum too :)

    if u want to save it as AVI then use virtual dub, if u want to save it as a DVD movie then use convertx2dvd. both programs works fine
