Heres my problem, I got a ratdvd. And it wouldnt play the sound in wmp so I'm converting it back to a dvd and what I get is a folder with vobs in it. Where's the dvd image for mounting and burning?

Or am I suppose to use some other software to turn what I get into a dvd image?

burn the vobs (with your fave burning soft) as a DVD VIDEO disk. Don't forget to follow proper DVD directory structure.

If your problem is that it won't play win WMP, which ver are you using? cause WMP9 plays all the rats I've made thus far.

Well, I dont plan on burning it. I wanted to mount it with daemons and play it from there. But ya, I have to turn the vobs into a img myself I see. Would be nice if rat did that.

if your not planning on burning it, why convert it (this is just outta curiousity) you should be able to play the ratdvd file...unless your pc is lacking in processing power?

You can play the VOB's with a DVD program such as WinDVD or PowerDVD. You can also play VOB's in WMP but i don't recommend it because WMP sucks ass.

I agree with TheGrynch because WiMP is just wimpy and also, if you get video to work (some people can't) try playing in Winamp and see if that works. Personally I think it would, but you might have to do a little preference tweaking.
