'the best' today is the R4/M3 Simply or for some people, the cycloDS, or G6 Real. read mr_hanky's guide (its in the stickies on this forum). the m3 lite is not the best, but the m3 lite/m3 simply/R4 does lack one feature -- they cannot play GBA games. visit dealextreme.com before buying, they normally have the best deals, and free shipping, so long as you're willing to wait up to 3 weeks for delivery.
