    Hey all,
I'm on the verge of ordering a CycloDS Evolution for my DS Lite, and have gone through all the tutorials and forums etc. But one question I haven't been able to find an answer to (and is probably quite a stupid question), is is using flash carts safe? Whatever about the Brick viruses that are out there, if I get my flash cart tomorrow, set it up, play a few Homebrew games etc., will I still be able to use my DS normally? By which I mean if I turn off my system, take out the Flash Cart, and put in one of my DS games, will they work?

I guess the short question from this long winded one is does using a flash cart write any permanent information to the DS. Excluding of course, using FlashMe or something similar. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help.
