I have some movies that are iso files and I would like to make them into avi files so its just the film .

Can someone point me towards the correct tools and procedure to manage this?

    Thanks.

Assuming that you only want the main title - not the menu, trailers, etc.

Run DVD Shrink, open the ISO ('File' 'Open Disc Image').

On the top menu bar, click 'Re-author'.
On the right window panel, drag 'Title 1' from right to left window panel.
Click 'Backup', and from the drop down menu, select as backup target 'Hard disc folder'.
The files will be saved to a standard DVD folder.

Run 'AutoGK' and for the input file, browse to the 'VIDEO_TS' folder that DVD Shrink created.
Select 'VTS_01_0.IFO (this ensures that all relevant files are processed).
Select an output file, an audio track(s) - and subtitles if available.
Choose a 'Custom' size for the AVI file (700MB for an hour of running time and multiples thereof?)

    'Add Job' and 'Start'.

    Best to run overnight, undisturbed.
