Hi. First off, I did an extensive search of the forums, with no answer to my questions... DivX just released the new DivX converter, but it doesn't convert ISO, so I'm looking for a program that will convert ISO to another format. ( It is an ISO of a DVD backup I made, and I have it saved on my PC to watch, but want to save space by compressing it into DivX). I tried WinISO, but get a fatal error when trying... I tried TMPGEnc and I get a fatal error, I tried extracting the ISO file using ISO Buster, but that just creates another ISO! I tried all of these programs with a mounted image using Alcohol 120%, and when that failed, I tried extracting them directly from their folder locations. After this failed, I also disabled all of my anti-spyware, antivirus and firewalll, uninstalled the 3 programs, re-installed, and tried again with the same results. I'm not sure... will the AutoGK program work? Are there any other options for converting an ISO from my Hard Disk to MPEG or AVI? Thanks to all who reply! Your time and help are appreciated! ~bB
Never experienced this, but could it be that you have a corrupted iso or an iso with encrypted files? Anyway, you may try burn the iso with Decrypter, then rip to harddisk again as avi (divx). Good luck!
