Hello, Recently I just received this laptop as a hand-me-down, and somehow there is a strange setting where I cannot see any desktop icons, nor can I drop anything on there. If I left click and drag the mouse it shows a circle with a line through it. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thank you very much for your help.
Figured it out, it was a matter of right clicking on the desktop, Arrange Icons By, and then "Show Desktop Icons" and possibly also one of the 'lock' choices under that category.
