I bought the program yesterday and it seemed to run smoothly. I am having issues now with the files looking exactly the same no matter what output and no matter what bit rate. I am recording from a file and not a dvd and the original file is crystl clear. I converted it to the 320 option and the 480 option and the file sizes seem relatively simmilar no matter if at 256 kbps or at 1500. Watching the files on the tv, there is no diference either and there are a lot of artifacts and distortions in the file. I am stumped. I tried a couple different decoders (Inter Video and Cyber Link) and just don't know why I keep getting crappy video output quality even when I set the files to over 1500 kbps. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? What decoders is everyone using for this specific program and what outputs. Please help, I would very highly appretiate it.

I was doing it at 30. I am thinking it might be a decoder problem. I tried 3 different ones and still the same problem. I output the video at 1500 kbps and when i open it in quicktime and look at the info, it is actually decoded at around 700-800 kbps. I have no idea what the issue might be.

I agree, it could be a decoder problem. Then again, why would it happen with 2 (or more) seperate decoders? try re-installing your PQDVD..
