I recently purchased a second M3DS Real card from kick gaming, it arrived last night and I have been unable to get it to work. I have a previous m3DS real card that has worked fine for the last year, and was purchasing a second card for my wife. The only difference in the 2 cards is the new one has the words "M3 Sakura" in the top right corner (where my old one does not), and the microSD card mounts from the side (where my old one mounts from the top). The old M3 works perfectly with both software versions(Standard and Sakura), but I cannot get any software to load on the new card. I have tried both working microSD cards that I had already (loads in old, does not load in new), as well as new software versions on a 3rd card I recently purchased as well. Nothing works! It simply loads as if there is no cart in the DS Lite, and sits on the standard DS Dashboard. Am I missing something? Or did I simply receive a dead card? (Just my luck, everything I order seems to come broken) Any help is appreciated! Thanks,
Hum, odd. With absolutely no change in setup, the card started working. I have no idea why, as I cried 20 different combonations of Card - MicroSD card - firmware, but it works now with a setup that didn't work not 2 hours ago.... Hopefully it will continue to work.
No The new side loaders seem slightly thinner than the old ones - they suffer from poor contact. try the paper shim trick, when it happens again put a thin piece of card between the back of the DS and the M3 card - pushing it onto the pins
