hello guys, well i have some movie video on my camcorder which i would like to convert to svcd or dvd. i used the software that came with the cam corder and it sucks. the quality is less than vcd and it looks better just hooking the camcorder up to my tv and watching it that way. anyway when i bought my new A09 pioneer it came with dvd movie factory. will i have better sucess with this you think or would nero vision be better. Any help would be appreciated thanks
I am sure that both of these software compete. The Ulead software is an entire suite, so you would probably be better off staying with that. I would not recommend that you use either to actually encode you movie though. Both are likely to produce bad results with audio being out of sync or video being of poor quality. Now your camera, is it an analog or digital video camera? If it is a digital one, then you can transfer the files from the camera to the PC using USB or Firewire and then use a good encoder like CCE or TMPGEnc to convert your movies. If it is a analog camera, you will have to either use a capture card or capture software.
