I keep Trying to download Itunes 7 but every time i get an error about ISScript.MSI, its something to do with Quicktime. Please help or i cant use my new ipod.
it might not even be that. itunes7 does indeed have a glitch, it has been posted on all different sites. ill try to find you a way to fix it. my best advice for now is to uninstall everything and reinstall form your ipod CD. yoru CD shoudl contain everything you need.
i didnt knwo you had a nano. so you have the old itunes or you dont have any itunes? cause your ipod should work with the old itunes. and do you have a mac or a windows?
Excuse me for butting in but the glitch with itunes, would that explain why I keep getting error 4450 when trying to burn itunes to normal cda format? Never had a problem before updating to version, 7, I think it is. Anyway, the last update I took on oct 29th-06. Tks anyone.

That`s exactly my problem, even worse now. I can`t even open Itunes anymore. Tried deleting program and then re-insalling. Same thing, getting a microsoft error, grrrrrrrr. Thanks for your help, I`ll try and follow the thread you showed me.
so are you using itunes with an ipod? or just by itself, cause if you really dont have anythign important on it then delete it and use another program for your music.
Yes, I have an ipod. It seems the problem is that I may be missing a file, something about windows uninstaller or installer... I have some support close by, I will try and resolve it with the support. I will come back here if I need to. thanks for your interest.
Hmmm, i recently had a problem with my Itunes/quicktime. I kept installing and reinstalling. Here's what you should try. Go to start--run--type in "msconfig", then go to the Boot.ini tab, and check the /safeboot option with minimal. Then restart the computer. When it starts back up (it may take awhile, it did for me) go to start---search and type in Itunes and quicktime (2 searches) wait a few minutes, and then it will show you all the entries, now delete all of them. Then just to make sure go to start---run---type in "regedit" then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE---SOFTWARE and look for Apple Software or Quicktime and delete those folders in the registry, then shut down and install itunes and quicktime, i suggest installing 6.0, for some reason a lot of people have trouble with the new version. Later.
i just had the newest itunes ptu on my computer and its working fine now, the 6.0's work fine too btu the newest one has more stuff and options.
Well I found my problem. It's been about a month now, forgot to post back. I had threads in different sites. My pc power supply was failing. After I installed new power supply, everything came into place. My son in law is an IT tech and he found the problem, after testing everything else (besides the mother board, that was next). Computer/itunes has been running like a charm since. I re-installed version 6 again (if it ain't broke.....)
