I just bought an ipod and I already had the lastest version of Quicktime on my laptop. I downloaded iTunes and when I tried to install it I got this message; "Quicktime would not install properly. iTunes needs Quicktime to run." and my only option is to click "Close" and the whole install is unsuccessful. I uninstalled the Quicktime and downloaded the QT with iTunes and got the same message when I tried to install. So, i downloaded QT alone. It installs fine. Then I go to install iTunes and get the same message. What on earth can I do so I can use this blasted 250 dollar ipod?
no, the instructions say to download iTunes from apple.com. I just tried it all again and I am getting the same message.
