I just need to know what program i need. I heard that theres a program that would burn dvds onto a blank dvd as long as it is under 4.7 gigs. If theres anything else I need please tell me
dvd de-crypter or smartripper, then purchase dvd2one might seem expensive but worth it, use nero or recordnow max but will have to purchase either but normally get one or another with your dvd writer drive, i recomend recordnow max better compatibility with standalone dvd players. When you have what you need have a look around for some guides on this forum or do a new post, the using of the above programs in three stages will produce a backup of your dvds of any size and make it fit on one blank dvd with good results. Dvd decrypter will backup a dvd only if it is a layer 1 type (dvd5) and under 4.7gb but not many are these days (splash the cash, check out the dvd2one forum on this site)
sheepy what you said is true except for one thing. dvd decrypter will rip a movie even if its a dual layer disc. I have done many of them with it.
yep you are write, it will rip any dvd, but i thought you wanted a program that would burn a layer 1 dvd5 onto a blank dvd, in dvd decrypter has a burning program in it that will do dvd 5 single layers (though you probably know this)using the read and write options.
