I am at my wits end (short trip). I have tried several tests and cant seem to find a common thread. Import a video clip (DV) from Canon ZR45 using firewire to Premier6 and diddle with it. Export to Microsoft DV (Cinepak Codec by Radius) AVI file. Using Microsoft Media Player whenever the scene is panning left or right every vertical line is like a step function when it should be a straight line. As long as the scene is steady it is clear but as soon as there is any movement this zig zag shows up. Does anyone have any idea. I have tried using the Microsoft DV codec and still same thing. Could it be the player and the output to a Sony DRU400a will be ok? Thanks in advance.
