Jenesis emulator problems

I just got the Sega megadrive emulator called Jenesis for DS. It works almost perfectly and the games run smoothly. Two problems have arizen though.
1. The screen is zoomed in and I can't see the edges, which is not really a massive problem but is annoying.
2. On Streets of rage, (my rom of which is universal (JUE)) the language is set to japanese, which again is no real problem but is annoying.

Any help would be appreciated.
