Hello I wonder if anyone can help me? I tried to convert a Divx movie into DVD (MPEG-2) format so that I could play it on my Playstation 2. I have followed all of the online guides verbatim and my PC DVD-RW play the created DVD-R fine but when I play it in my Playstation 2 I always get very jerky playback. Can anyone help?
Ps2's are very picky about the movies they play. I find it better on region 1 dvds than region 2. You also have to remember that they were built mainly for game play and the dvds you buy in shops. They wont even play svcd or vcd or anything of the sort without boot methods.
Yep. It's my Playstation 2 causing all the problems! I now have some DVD-R media that works on my actual dvd player and playback is great on that. I hope this thread helps other people who have encountered the same problem as I... Thanks for your help dude.
