i have some avi files that i would like to make into dvds while dvd santa. the files that i used nero showtime to view looked and sounded great i then used dvd santa to convert into dvd format. when i played the dvd it was jerky but the sound was ok. when i went back and viewed the files i used windows media 10 and then power dvd and the files were jerky with good sound. i then used nero show time and they were fine does anyone have any ideas. i have about 8 diffrent player software programs on my computer. any and all suggestions are welcome. thanks desiel
So you encoded from AVI to DVD and the resulting DVD was playing back jerky? thats pretty strange as DVDSanta is actuially quite good at encoding. Have you tried a DVD in a stand alone player or anything? If you cant get DVDSanta to encode properly for you, you have loadsa of other options like DVD2SVCD and Avi2DVD
when i viewed the avi with nero show time it is good but after i ecode it with dvd santa it is jerky. if i use one of my other viewing programs the avi is jerky like the encoded dvd is. i was thinking that i may have a codex conflict but i have update media player and the other players that i use so i am not sur ewhat the problem is. i was just hoping someone else had the same problem that may have found a solution. Thanks desiel
