DVD authoring programs can join separate video and audio streams into one. A lot of people mention that elementary (separate) video and audio streams are of better quality. So I wonder, is there a way to join separate MPEG-2 and .WAV streams into a one final SVCD project.

VCDEasy? Nero? Nero can make a SVCD from photo pictures and an audio file. Can I do the same with two separate streams of the same movie?

    Other software?

    Thanks,
    Haris

There is No Differance in Quality between Elementary Streams and Program streams.. The reason why Poeple use seperate Streams when Makeing DVD"s is because the DVD authoring Program has to Mux the audio and Video files to DVD Specifiations so if you load a Program stream into a DVD authoring Program the Program just has to Seperate the streams anyways so that is why it is better to use Elementary streams...And you can Not use Wav audio as the audio for SVCD"s ,SVCD"s use Mpeg1 Layer 2 audio and that audio and Video has to be Muxed a Certain way or it is Not a Proper SVCD file so that is why it is best to have the Mpeg encoder or a Multiplexor to Join the audio and Video from SVCD"s before Burning to CD-R....Cheers
