I've downloaded several movies with one,two or even three conjoining
parts making a whole movie.I would like to join all the parts (avi files) together before converting them into vob files. What's the easiest way to do this little job??

Are you sure all AVIs are from the same file (framerate, resolutioon and so on..)
If so, open the AVI with VirtualDub, do File__Append AVI segment and go.
After all, set Audio and Video to Direct Stream Copy and do File___Save (F7).
If the original AVI was badly cur you might hear noises in the joining points, of the files might even overlap...this is a problem of the input, not of our output, and to correct the pieces you must use Video__Select Range to create 3 'perfect' AVI pieces, first.

or you can use vso's dvixtodvd, and load the avi's in,on top of each other, they will be merged together
and then burn then resulting video ts folder, with clonedvd2,or the new app' i am testing [bold]"prassi ones's"[/bold] burning app......which is looking like the dog's bollox,i might add.

    enjoy
