I have nero 6 I'm trying to make a short video so can upload it to youtub, I got the files from my digital camera which has video, I edited the files in nero I thought all the files would be joined up but when I tryed to upload the file they are all single fies so I can only upload one file at a time, can you tell how I can join the the files up so I upload it as one dvd file
Did you use the Join function in Nero Vision to add them all to the same project? To use the Join function in Nero, add all the files to be joined to the project, select all the files to be joined, and click the Join icon. The Join icon is the middle blue icon in the lower left of the window where the video titles are listed. The icon has a film strip on top and one on the bottom. Is the problem that you ended up with several VOB files?
I still have a problem I made the video into one file but its a VIDEO_TS file it won't upload as one file to youtub any idea how I can do it
I never uploaded anything on youtube before but maybe you can try this. Merge the files you got from your digital camera using NanDub or VirtualDub. Save it as 1 file. Then upload that file to youtube.
VIDEO_TS is a folder that contains at least 3 files, an IFO file, a BUP file and at least one VOB file. Depending on several things there may be several VOB files. DVD standards limit VOB files to 1 GB in size. Here's what YouTube requires for uploading: http://www.youtube.com/t/howto_makevideo You converted your video to be DVD compliant. You can either strip the mpg from the DVD video or just convert it to one of the compressed formats with the Export function in Nero Vision. There are many other programs that can do the conversion other than Nero Vision. You might just use Dr. Divx (free) to convert mpeg4 divx. It's better than Nero Vision imo. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Dr_DivX.htm As nasayin suggests, you might be able to use VirtualDub to join and edit the files and convert to another format if necessary. Since we don't know what format your video is in from your camera, it's hard to be more specific. Since you already have it edited, using Dr. Divx or Nero Vision will likely be quicker right now. VirtualDub also has a small learning curve (there's so much the free program can do).
Thanks guys I converted it as you said in nero vision by exporting it, now its mpeg4 I had no trouble uploading it to youtub I wouldn't of been able to do it without your help
