hi, can somebody tell me if it is possible to pu t my pictures(jpeg) from mypc on my pioneer 5100H through the firewire connection? I can see the pc recognizes the drive as "L" but when I try to copy to the "L" it would not go...any sugesstions ..I just want to put all my pictures on a DVD..(no dvd burner in pc) thanks Fleliard ( Belgium)
maybe it was not clear to you ..sometimes my English is not as good..sorry for that. The pioneer 5100h is a dvd videorecorder..it has a 80gig hdd and a dvd burner inside. It has a DV firewire connection and when I plug it into the firewire connection in my pc the dvd recorder is recognised as drive L when I try to copy files (pictures) into the L drive it does not accept it. I thought I might avoid buying a dvd burner to put into the pc , if I could just connct the dvr onto my pc. Hope this cleared up a bit my previous question. Thx FL
