jumped cogs

ok i got a new computer on the 22nd and already ive hit my knee off the disc tray and its poped off the cogs, then i pushed it back in and now it won't come out because a "clip" has got it, then i tryed to push a hair clip thing in the little hole hoping that it would release it, but it didn't. so how can i get it out ( just the disc tray ) to fix it.

please help, even a suggestion can help.

 

Did you try the eject button in "My Computer/DVD Disc"?

 

yeah, when i press the putton on the drive it makes noises and when i click on eject nothin ghappens

 

I meant open My Computer and right click on the DVD drive and left click "eject".

 

yeah, i done that, nothing happened

 

I guess it's time to get out the screw driver. I'm tapped out of any more suggestions. Good Luck.......
