as i now cant aford to get my 360 ive decided to get an xbox and have a little play, will shortly be picking up a preowned xbox and a few games quite cheap and also be gettin a 200gb drive ive read through alot of information on how to do various different software exploits i work at a games shop and we have the xploder memory card tool there will this be the same as the action replay as it has the memory card and usb cable for it etc? also whats the best way of me softmodding it? all the info seems a little unclear of weither ill be able to use my retail games on live using the UXE exploit, also is it possible to load my retail games to the drive through the xbox rather than through ftp? id also like to use my box for a number of other things such as watching my divx movies, real player south park episodes, playing snes roms ,and using open xdk was just wondering if this is all possible? im not asking for links to programs and files, maybe just names of them so i can search jus one more thing, is there a compatibility list of hard drives like there is on the ps2? thanks alot
1. First off if u want to play online on a modded box isnt impossible it just only works for a few games. 2. Yes the xploder will work u can even use a modified flash memory stick. 3. use sid3(softmod installer deluxe v3) and install unleashx, it is way more user friendly then evox. 4. snes games are possible through emulators and homebrew. The hard part is finding them 5. I am not shure u can use xdk or not. 6. To watch movies on a modded box u need a media player, I suggest xbox media player(xbmp) This lets u whatch dvd movies any movie file on your drive and u can stream video from your computer to your xbox. 8. I dont know of any compatible drives and dont think u can use a softmod to swap harddrives
nice one, should be in ur pm box just been reading about Krayzie Ndure Installer being able to boot to normal dash on eject button press or something, thus able to play live anyone know much about this?
