    Is it possible to backup my DVD MOVIES with my modded xbox?

    what do you mean? You can't burn movies with your xbox.

    You can rip it to the hard drive and watch it. DVD2XBOX does it ..

    after i ftp it to my computer then can i burn it to a dvd-r or do i have to convert it to something like iso as you do with xbox games?

    if you have a dvd burner, then why are you trying to include the xbox in the process?

    No, You dont FTP anything.. DVD2Xbox rips the movie from your xbox DVD drive then copies to the xbox hard disk. So you dont have to carry your DVD disks around.. Just watch it from the hard drive
