JUST GOT XBOX LIVE FOR OLD XBOX

OK, I HAVE A MODDED XBOX (ORIGINAL) SIGNED UP WITH XBOX EVERYTHING IS OK. ENTERED MY ISP AND PASSWORD AN ALL THAT BUT CAN'T CONNECT WHEN I PLAY A GAME FROM MY HARD DRIVE. WHAT DO I DO? I AVE (EVO) XBOX, GREEN LETTERING IF THAT MATTERS, WHAT DO I DO TO CONNECT?

 

have you gone through the set up guide on Xbox.com yet, that would be where i would start. Then if that doesn't work people can break down the problems and help you out.

 

you cant play backed up games of your hard drive on Xbox Live

 

never had Xbox Live on my original Xbox, but you can play online off the hard drive with Xlink Kai or XBconnect.

 

So where do I get those programs, and is it hard to install?
