just purchased a new monitor need help!

    okay so i got a samsung 22 inches monitor and it says that it has 2ms, what is that? is 2ms better than 5ms? what is the difference?

    2ms is better than 5ms. The lower the number the better, especially in fast moving scenes. If the number is too high (low quality older lcd monitors) like 20ms in fast action scenes you will see ghosting patterns on the screen.

    most of the lcd monitor nowadays are like 5 ms at least. i have never encountered a 20 ms nowadays. that's good to hear.. another thing mine is samsung monitor and there are alot of rumors saying that samsung does not give out rebates and that they are a ripoff? because i have a 50 dollars mail in rebate, and i am afraid that samsung wont mail me my check. is the rumor a hoax or is it true?
