Just tell me how to do it please! AVI to DVD with Subs

I know there are a 1000 threads asking this question (or like it) but that's the problem. There are too many to sort through.

What's the easiest way to take an AVI file that I downloaded that has an .idx .sub title file included along with it?

File.sub

I just want to watch it and make it simple.

That still hasn't helped me.

All I want to do is join an AVI, IDX, and SUB file together and make one DVD out of it.

Somebody is extracting these files from DVD's and making 3 separate files out of them. There must be a simple authorizing program that will combine them back together again.

No, there is none, because AVI is not a DVD standard. All procedure require to encode AVI --> M2V + audio.
