just used chip off a old box just need some help

have installed a executor 3ce chip out of a dead xbox to mates new xbox now i know i need to back up the orginal hard drive c and e drives before installing my new 120gb drive in it i ftp in and go to copy drives local then it freezes up the ftp conection and wont down load am i doing something wrong?

i dident re flash the bios is that needed?

any help would be great thanks.

 

Try xboxhdm . Reflashing the modchip wont do much other than just reflashing it . Unless its a 1.6 . Then you would have different problems .

 

Sorry i meant xplorer360 . My mind was elsewhere .

 

You dont have to back up the C: and E: if
you dont want to. Just put the new drive in and
run slayer 2.7 and that will build the hard drive for
you. If you really want the C: and E: then use the
utility that was suggested above.
