JVC DVD Player,Unable to play back DVD's

    I have a DVD Video Player XV-F80BK/XV-F85GD
    in my Home theater, in manual it states Non-playable disks. DVD-ROm, DVD-RAM, DVD-Audio,
    DVD-R, DVD-RW, CD-ROM,Photo-CD, CD-Extra
    CD-G, CD-Text.
    Playable discs.
    DVD Video, Video CD,(compact disk Digital video) Audio CompactDisc Digital Audio.
    I have tried DVD Xcopy, I have Sony DRU-500AUX. DVD writer, can someone tell me which Software to use.I have downloaded SmartRipper,
    DVD2AVI, DVD Decrypter.

    You need a new DVD player that supports DVD-R or DVD+R or both

    No software is going to overcome the fact that your machine can't play the discs
