JVC MH20 S

    Just bought the above (UK) - plugged everything in and the display just says "LOADING". The instructions do say it will do this for about 50 seconds but it was still doing it 20 mins later ! I had to disconnect it from ther mains eventually, now it does the same each time I switch it on.

    Before I go to the expense of sending the unit back, anybody had similar or knows how to reset it. I have heard horror stories of MH10's with this problem but not MH20.

    HI, I HAVE 2 JVC DVD/VCR MACHINES.They were also flashing loading. It is a known problem with JVC recorders. I had to take both of my machines into a service center so they could do some modifications to them. They both seem to be working fine now. They even fixed one that was out of warranty, because it is a known problem. Hope this helps.

    Thanks. I rang JVC on Friday and there instant reply of "it needs a hardware upgrade send it back to your place of purchase" gave the game away somewhat! I refused to send it back through my original place of purchase as it would cost me £20 so I am in the middle of arranging for a new unit to be sent out and the old one picked up. We shall see what happens ...
