I use DVD2One to compress movies. I'm getting a little more knowledgeble of the ripping process. My question is how do I know what the file name of the menu is when you burn it. i would like to know what files are needed and what are not. Thanks for the feedback.

    menus are always the 0.vob.

after you have used dvd2one to compress, allowing for the menu, you need to run ifoupdate so the menu will correspond with the compressed vobs.

i assumed you wanted to keep the menu, so what you need to do is before you use dvd2one is see how many mb is left once you take out the main vobs(not the 0.vob).
    you should have dvd2one 1.0.2.
if so type where it says _____mb under destination the amount you want the main film being allowing for the menu (the amount you just worked out), once its finished put the compressed vobs (only) back with the original and then use ifoupdate.
this will update your original ifo to match the newly compressed vobs.

tip, when using ifoupdate, put it in adjusted cell mode.
