Keeping widescreen format in VCD

    Hello.....is it possible to keep widescreen format when burning a vcd and if so can someone please tell my dumb ass how to do it....my movies original avi format is in widescreen and whenever i convert and burn to vcd format (NERO and TMPGREnc) all i gets is pan and scan no matter what ive tried. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Click setting and click the advanced tab. Change Video Arrange method to "Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio)". Then encode!

    One last question and then i promise to be quiet for a bit...how come i am getting no sound on my mpeg encodes (with tmpgEnc)

    Perhaps because your audio stream on the input movie is compressed. Try uncompressing the audio stream and running through again. Of course, any more help is no problem at all!
