I got a new computer and all, installed vista, all goes well except this keyboard which i had for about 3 years now, I am reusing on this new computer (old computer ran on xp). But the keyboard always adds extra commands when i dont press the keys. For example, i type qwer fast, and this is what happens: qwedjr randomj letters are added without being pressed and commands are being issued without me pressing it. What can I do to fix this problem? I tried updating drivers, no help, tried to open up the keyboard by taking all the screws off, cant get the cover off still. How can i fix this keyboard without spending money or getting a new one since this is a nice keyboard? (side note: it was working perfectly fine before applying to new computer) (this is also a logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo, cant remember series name)
Test it again with the old PC if you like, but it sounds like the controller on it is faulty, so you'll have no real option but to replace it.
