anyone know a keylogger that starts before windows does

 

Anything, just add the program to the startup list.

 

no like i want it to record a user accounts password.. which is before the account is logged on

 

That can't be done to my knowledge, but there are other ways of acquring that info. But these types of matters are best left undiscussed at AfterDawn. My last departing bits of knowledge are that having phsyical access to the machine will be a boon to you, Google and YouTube are your friend.

I agree with PeaInAPod but it is actually a very legit piece of software. If you cant figure out how to use it, you shouldnt have it.

 

Yeah I have used Ophcrack many a time. I guess the advice is all based on the readers point of view, I assumed by "starts before windows does" that gtafanboy meant before windows is fully running. But hats off to you kiwi1 for thinking outside the box. gtafanboy a Ophcrack CD can be burned to a DVD and can crack just about any password you throw it.

 

Actually...If you have a Plug-N-Play KeyLogger Than it records automatically when it has power, but their hella expensive.
