    Hello.
Well, it happened. After flashing my unit last week with the latest firmware I left the CD with the firmware around the player. My mother wanted to listen to some music and, of course, placed the cd with the firmware in. Annoyed nothing happens she closed, pushed buttons... it doesn't matter, right now the unit is semi-dead. The red "stand by" led lights on when I press the power button but as soon as I press anything else the led shuts down. Other than that, no display, nothing on the TV, no sound, no eject, nothing nothing...
Did it happened to anybody else too? Is there any way/chance to repair/fix it?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Serban

I would try to remove the power cord from the power outlet for a couple of minutes and then try to start it again and reinstall the firmware.
If it doesn't work you should call philips. There should be a way to delete the firmware and then reinstall it !
Tell me if any of the previous worked !
