i recently bought a Nordmende DVD player for my bedroom as the one in the TV/Video/DVD combi had packed up. When i got it home i tried it with a shop bought DVD, backup copy DVD and a CD. They all played fine, when i went to bed i put on a backup copy and it played for so long and then stopped. I tried a bought dvd and it just kept saying "loading". The next day i had the same problem so i checked the set-up - changed it from Pal to Multi and just played around with some of the other settings and it worked again with the above. Again, come nightfall, same problem. I've tried doing the same thing again but to no avail. Can anyone help?
further to this i am linked to a tv/dvd/vcr combi with a scart lead - do you think this could be the problem? I am going to try running it through a normal TV
