know how to burn .avi, but this is a bunch of unknown files????

    OK i have a few movies on my computer and i dont know what format they are in. S-kingkongar.r00 is an example and the rest just have different number endings. How do i get these into i guess an avi file? or how would i burn them to a dvd-r? I have the new imac, roxio, dvd2one, and mactheripper.
