Ok so I am told new stock will arrive 1st Sep. SO in preparation for thati thought I would get everything else sorted, apart from the obvious I figured I would need:

    a Router
VPn tunnel setting up? - can anyone recommend a good link for this, and is it easy to do?
proxy server? - again does anyone know of any good proxies out there and is this easy to setup?

Anything else? and do i need both the proxy and vpn for extra security?

    Thanks,

Hi did you manage to get a reply regarding this, would prefer to buy the box only if I can set up a proxy and some vpn tuneling, still dont have a clue how to do either. Thanks,

I would imagine the only way for vpn or proxy to work with these boxes would be if you set it up with internet sharing from your pc so your pc is where either of these is running and then it's sharing to the box via your ethernet port on pc. Can't see it working any other way.

Don't see why. Settings will be the same as far as the box is concerned for internet connection (router i.p. etc.) as all your doing is sharing through your pc where you are running your vpn or proxy software.

well lets see if they try it what probs they will have to be honest i would not bother its been running now for going on 6mts without any problems from you know who if they where going to do anything they would have done it at the start to to nip it in the bud so to speak

Oh I totally agree that the risk is minimal and I personally would not go through all the hassle if I had the box. I was just explaining about how to do it as per the previous posters questions.

yep its a lot of trouble for nothing ist just people scarmongering that has people this way thats all.

What people dont understand there other boxes where just as likely to be found as well as all they had to do was go to the green box out side and monitor the out put then they would be able to see did they do that nope they did not so why would they bother with this.
