Hi, can anyone help me pls? Just got the krypt 780. I have most of the channels ive checked but don't have Comedy central. I do have plus1 and extra though. Also what type of scan do I do? Is it this... Instalation > Automatic search > Channel search type > all? Sorry about the newbie type questions, this is a new box type to what i'm used to. The Box came already scanned. Thanks

first do a factory reset on your box menu >> installation >> factory default 0000 password

then automatic search> your provider > Channel search type > network >> press green button only

next step is your net id or your area close to you highlight that then press ok and just leave it

SCAN WITH NO SPLITTERS ON CABLE and disconnect the ethernet cable while scanning as well

Sorry, I had to pop out. Ive still not got that damn channel :( I scanned without splitter but needed to put it back in as My internet was not connected once I unplugged the splitter. My box in the room doesn't have it either. I read that if you leave the box on stand-by, It updates frequences? Maybe that will help over night, will give it a shot anyway.

did you put the software on your box

you also need to connect the ethernet cable from your router to the box also

look at the back of the box you will see a black tape pull that off and plug the

ethernet cable into that but you have to have the software loaded first of course

and if you are in ireland that box will not work here at the present time

yes you can leave it on stand by over night
but you would be better off doing it manually

wont scan if he has not set it up from the start as there will be nothing on the box

you only use the standby when the box is loaded and scanned in

not scanned no channels his words and he has no cable in the box either so unless he has the channels on the box the scan feature will not work as he has to choose his provider the box cannot do that for ya

Haha sorry guys, whats the confusion? I scanned it without a splitter but then had to put it back in once it had finished because I need it for my internet. How should I scan manually? Thanks for the help.
