kryptview a700c problem!!

    Hey, i have an Arnet Kryptview a700c.

    The picture was looking abit funny so my boyfriend was looking through settings and accidently hit 'factory default setting'

    now we cant get out of the menu, let alone back to the channels!

    Any help guys??

    I've just done everything you said and all was fine until the last part. No screen appeared with any options for legacy :S

    All it does after the search is say 'complete [exit]' then when you press exit it takes you back to the 'easy installation' sceen

    Having a problem with friends box.My is okay and the stations we have left are okay on mine but on my friends signal ok but quality nothing .Any help?

    Check he has a live feed going to the box, also check he has no splitters, or you could always check his box at your house.

    im having exactly the same problem, did a reset, and got my channels apart from bbc, so reset again and now i have the same problem, just says 1 already exist and 2 etc etc, takes me into channels scan and no channels are tuned, no option to choose the net id, my cable is fine as my other box is working fine, any idea? i have even tried to flash the box, still getting already exist , im on tw

    follow the tut a few posts back and you will see what you need to do.

    its 9 posts back, if you scroll up you will see it, just change your provider to tw, that's all you need to do, as its on ntl at the moment there.

    ive done that still no luck, surely someone must know how to fix this? looks like the network data remains in the receiver after a reset or reinstallling firmware, thats why it says already exist

    When you are doing a factory reset, take the cable out of the back of the box, then do the factory reset, then turn the box off at the back,then back on again then do you scan, just like the post above.

    ive tried it mate, no luck im afraid, it appears that the this database remains in the receiver after resetting, is there any other way to totally erase everything in the menu.?
