    Hi,

Hope I'n the right place, new to all this. My KV780 is up and running almost perfect. The one issue is the EPG which is only populated for a few channels and even on those is incomplete. Is this normal, are others having the same issue?

    Regards
    M

Thats usually down the info stream from your provider, could be an issue on that if your box isnt picking it up correctly, have you tried the epg on a provider box to see if its the same?

Have you updated the box the latest firmware? You can do this via the box itself.

did you reset the box afterwards? factory re-set, then re-scan on your net ID

    Hi,
Thanks for your patience in responding.

I updated the firmware over the net
    Factory reset
Got the correct net ID from this site; there are 2 and I tried both.
    Did a scan.
What I o notice is that the longer the box is on the more gets added to the EPG and if I switch to standby then it all goes and then slowly starts to build again.

My signal strength is ~88 is that good or bad? Could that have anything to do with it.

I have 1 splitter in the line which splits between my router and KV780 and no others.

I get all the channels and the picture sound/quality os perfect.

yeah thats a good signal, perhaps its just taking a while for the EPG stream to load and it is loading, so thats not a problem, all boxs are the same when turned on or off, EPG isnt instant, takes a while to propogate, its the least of yer worrys with boxs, so would just enjoy

Far to high for a signal 75/80% is perfect.
