playing up last night and nothing today either, same anywhere else anyone? have had similar probs like this previously and will hopefully come back on or will it?
Still nothing on ssp1/2/3/4/5 is this the same all round? Rung a pal up, he said his is coming on around 1pm and is on for the rest of the day, but nothing on mine, which I have 2 of. Broadband is working all ok, regards the Ethernet plugs which I have are solwise, the 3 lights are more or less on all the time? Just checked plugs and one of the plugs has one light on only all the time, this was plugged in next to PC, so have swapped it with the bedroom tv Ethernet plug 3 lights are on (which is not used that often so presume this plug is working) have gone downstairs and checked plug there and 3 lights are on but still nothing coming on, so any suggestions or just wait? Cheers
maybe at this stage of life having a backup plan for viewing would be a good idea as i cant see it lasting fore ever?
what money as was included in price of box and how long running 5 or 6 years now and very little income as no new boxes out.
well depends on how many boxes are still being bought by people I cant complain i've got my moneys worth out of it if it has packed in.
cant knock the kv team at all, if you buy an a780 off f;eabay or where ever the boxes were bought 2nd hand, the box was what you bought is years old, and you bought the box that is all, but they still carry on to keep the service up and running with no profit to them (unlike another box), Hats off to them i say, would suggest a device that can use xbmc on kv blackouts though, always need a backup like cacti says
Hi tongs007 Just had a quick look regards the xmbc boxes, now I am completely oblivious to all this tech, do these work off the virginn cable, or just normal tv aerial, if you can send me up to you a pm regards how these work, and the best place to buy one from, do these have to be downloaded with updates etc like the kv boxes in the future and most importantly do I get all the sports channels ssp&bt......and ci channel?
