Having a problem with the sound on a kryptview. when i turn up the sound on the telly i get a buzzing sound.Have tried turning up the volume on the box and decreasing the volume on the tv but no joy. High quality scart cable from box to tv.I know this problem was in another thread but i can't find it. any ideas?

I found the audio on the KV has a slight hissing sound, witnessed this on several KV's,..it's more evident when the KV volume is high & TV volume is low, sounds exactly like wind blowing through trees but quite faint, keeping KV volume low sorts this out on my setup, the humming/buzzing sound is very common & can have several causes,..poor quality or faulty scart, faulty PSU on the KV or TV,..not saying you have one but cheapo LCD tv's tend to have this problem a lot,..they tend not to have good 50hz noise suppression & bright scenes & menus tend to highlight this problem even more...do you have the KV setup for PAL video output ?

Yes if you buy a good quality scart lead you wont get that problem.
