The new KV HD box has just been released hopefully this will be a much better version of their SD box
£250 It is a duel tuner for both cable and terrestrial, it also has 2 usb slots for recording facebook.com/iconnect.krypt
its abit priceyyy dont u think, and anyway i'd like to know what the quality is like, im sure people will send in the feedbaks
Does anyone have any links to this? Been googling and cant find the box anywhere, just lots of posts of people trying to figure out if it exists or not.
you could try a kryptview forum, i cant be arsed registering to look. http://www.kryptconnect.org/index.php
will be interesting to see if the kv hd gets any takeup. will it not just really peeve users who already have shoddy standard def performance. fantastic to have hd but bad hd is ten times more frustrating than reasonable standard def. When you consider that the sky box itself is a poor HD box (had to put boosters in for a buddy of mine recently) I would be very reluctant to spend this amount of dosh on a box with a server that is up and down
as i posted above it has a new home, not connected with the old place, cant see masses of boxes on shelves as most are gone to sat, however with the problems that sv are having only time will tell.
it is a absolute head scratcher as to anyone would buy a kv box when it is a simple matter to shove a sat dish up and get all the hd channels they want with far superior quality. from a cost point of view it makes no sense to use a kv. assume kv users are by nature apartment users who cannot stick sat dish up and are forced to use a cable system. if so i guess the kv hd is the next option for them
